Approximately 50% of the Stage 1 applicants are invited to Stage 2 based solely on the SSAT scores, strength of the online application, and report cards.

Because the invitation to Stage 2 is based on multiple criteria (including the number of applicants) and not the SSAT score alone, it is difficult to predict the minimum SSAT score of a successful Stage 2 candidate.  As a result, a high SSAT score alone will not guarantee an invitation to Stage 2.
